Benny Lam
Benny Lam (林南生) studied Mathematics in Hong Kong Baptist University and graduated from Warwick University in the UK with a MSc degree in “Parallel Computers and Computations” in 1993. Benny Lam obtained a diploma in “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” from Hong Kong Productivity Council.
Benny Lam is the founding vice chairman of “Hong Kong Technology Incubation Network (TIN)” in Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP), the chairman of “AI Special Group of the Hong Kong Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology (HKAAST)” and a member of the “Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS)”. Benny Lam is also the founding member of “Greater Bay Area Blockchain Technology Federation (GBABTF)”.
Benny Lam was one of the early designers of Hong Kong Octopus system and has been responsible for managing many large-scale IT system projects in HK government and corporations. In 2007, Benny Lam founded “Right Station Ltd.”, which was admitted to IncuTech programme of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks in 2009. Right Station Ltd. had developed a Cloud Warehouse Management System with data analytic functions for bonded logistics park and retail customers. In 2016, Benny Lam had completed a Machine Learning project for AIA. In 2017, Benny Lam has partnered with experienced investors to found a new company “AI Capital Ltd.” focusing on developing AI and Machine Learning platform for financial trading and forecasting.
